Nine Antiochians attended the first meeting of the Downeast Maine Alumni Chapter on October 20 in Trenton. Co-hosts Marj and Art Dole ‘46 and Matt Baya ‘92 shared current information about progress of the Revival Fund, Negotiations between University Board of trustees and Alumni Board, and developments at the college.

Highlights:

• Group members had a variety of opinions about the possible closing of Antioch College.
• They appreciated the opportunity to get acquainted,  to exchange opinions, and to hear new information.
• Pledges to the Revival Fund may be made with or without qualifications
• Matt Baya will share lists of Antiochians in this area and information sources such as the  Antioch Record and DowneastMaine.
• Art Dole will try to improve communication with Antiochians in this area who do not have computers.
• The group  agreed to meet next the second week in January.
