Photos from SFBA “Second Sunday” gathering 08/10/08
About a dozen alumni showed up at the first “Second Sunday” gathering at Au Coquelet in Berkeley (Second Sunday of the month); three were newcomers, hadn’t been to any of our other gatherings—actually four, counting Levi. Attached are a few photos—thanks to Rufus Diamant ’65—one of Levi Cowperthwaite ’08 and Dorothy Headley ‘36, the youngest and oldest present. Also a nice one of Kris Muller and Charlotte Rivers, and me with my “Save your money, honey” sock. It was the Antioch anthem when I started in 1960:
Old version:
Save your money, honey.
Put it in a sock.
When your kids, grow up
Don’t send them to Antioch,
Save your money
Save your money
Save your money, honey,
CCNY is free
New version:
Save your money, honey.
Put it in a sock.
When your kids, grow up
Send them to Antioch,
Save your money
Save your money
Save your money, honey,
CCNY is no longer free.
